Paul has sung his songs on “The Tonight Show,” and “The Muppets” have featured some of them. Since ending his Broadway career over 30 years ago, he has earned his living from his delightful, witty songs that appeal to all ages.

Song Savvy presents seven of his songs in a lighter mood that show - not only his technique for writing songs - but also his seasoned way of performing them. He gives permission for students to write their own songs - an idea that was denied him as a child.

He plays guitar, flute and xylophones and invites students to sing along on choruses and join him for a calypso on stage, playing exotic percussion instruments.
